Diverse midcentury housing in a green neighborhood
With quiet residential streets and generous lots that often back up to naturally wooded areas, “Residents in Hayfield Dundee really enjoy the beautiful trees and walkability that their neighborhood offers,” says Chris Allen, Owner and Realtor of Rainey Allen Shaw Realtors. Most properties have quarter to half-acre lawns that allow for flower beds and landscaping, though larger properties with up to 8 acres can also be found in the neighborhood. Homes here were mostly built in the mid-20th century, and feature a range of ranch-style, traditional and Classical Revival designs. Selling from about $300,000 to $750,000, buyers are as likely to encounter brick-sided ramblers with 1500 square feet as they are larger estate homes with 3,500 square feet and columns lining their facades. For something smaller, traditional brick townhouses and condos can also be found selling from about $150,000 to $250,000.Walk to nearby Jefferson County public schools
