Senator Tim Sheehy has called a 7-acre peninsula in Montana his getaway for years. Now, he and his family are ready to part ways with it for $10.25 million.

He bought the compound 30 miles outside Bigfork, Montana, in 2022, according to co-listing agent Bryce Connery of Bozeman-based Connery & Co. Nicknamed "Bird Point," the property includes a main house and two guest residences.
For outdoor adventurers, the property offers pickleball and tennis courts, a dock and fire pits.
The 4,925-square-foot main house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The 1,632-square-foot guest cabin — renovated in 2023 — comes with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second guest house, which is 1,320 square feet, has a bedroom and two bathrooms.

The compound sits outside Bigfork, a town known for its seasonal festivals, boutiques and restaurants.
"Montana, in general, we are experiencing unprecedented demand for unique properties. We saw a boom during the pandemic, and it is here to stay," Connery said. "The top of the market is as hot as it ever has been."

Sheehy and his family used the home for summer vacations, often hosting guests. Connery said that was the family's favorite aspect — having plenty of room to host large gatherings and utilizing all of the residences.

The compound offers a prime spot for outdoor activities, but it lacks the walk-to-town convenience many buyers want these days, Connery said.
"If you want to be in a walkable part of town, this is not for you. This is not right next to a ski mountain and everything that goes on with that," he said. "It’s a little quieter."
Elected in November, Sheehy turned his district from blue to red. Most recently, he supported many of the initiatives in the "One Big, Beautiful Bill," but countered early talks around selling federal lands for commercial and residential development. The divisive idea was stripped from a draft of the bill.
