Summit Park
Homes in Summit Park date to the 1940s through the 1970s
Most of Summit Park's homes were built from the 1940s to the '70s. "They have character. The architecture tends to be Pueblo style or sometimes Territorial style," says Kiegel. Pueblo-style homes have stucco walls, flat roofs and timbering. Territorial-style homes have similar exteriors and roofing, but may include Greek Revival features like square columns, pillars and the use of brick. There are also bungalows, split levels and ramblers in the neighborhood. Prices range from the $300,000s to $700,000s. Townhouses off Indian School Road Northeast have hovered in the $200,000s.The Summit Park Neighborhood Association is an active group
The Summit Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is run by a board of directors and welcomes residents to participate in meetings and events. "Summit Park has the best community. It's just a really wonderful community, and we all care about our properties and our neighbors," says Kiegel, who is a resident. "The neighborhood association plans fun events: We have such a great time at Coffee in the Park."
