Easy access to one of Austin's best parks

The area surrounding Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park is a wooded retreat less than 12 miles from downtown Austin. The park is one of the city's most beloved green spaces to get outdoors and connect with nature. Many neighboring communities are interconnected through a series of multi-use trails, which residents use to hike, bike, and catch up with neighbors over morning walks. Organizations like the Austin Ridge Riders connect community members through Sunday morning bike rides and regular events. “Walnut Creek Park is special to people for a lot of reasons. The park has an extensive network of trails that are shared by mountain bikers, hikers and people walking their dogs,” says Cliff Tyllick, an organizer with Keep Walnut Creek Wild, a community group dedicated to maintaining the park’s native habitat. In addition to its recreational perks, the neighborhood has a wide range of homes and townhomes and is close to quality shopping and dining at The Domain.
