Family-friendly gated community in Southwest Florida
Everything is growing in Parklands, a gated community in Southwest Florida, also referred to as Stonecreek by locals. The neighborhood stands out by prioritizing family-centric living in a sea of golfing communities, attracting homebuyers nationwide. “Stonecreek is a beautiful place to raise a family,” says Meg Titcomb, Broker Associate with John R. Wood Properties, Christie's International Real Estate. “It's got pools, splash pads and playgrounds, and it's really just a family-oriented community.” Along with ample recreation within Stonecreek, residents can access award-winning public schools and the vibrant downtown areas of Naples and Bonita Springs nearby. While children may grow in the community, the area around them has also seen significant growth as well. “This is the fastest growing sector of Naples,” Titcomb says. “There are new developments with restaurants and retail that are always packed every time you drive by.”

Swimming pools and hiking trails
Parklands's sidewalks lead to fun in the sun. The neighborhood has numerous family-friendly amenities, including a game room with a ping-pong table, a playground and a waterslide. However, plenty of competitive fun can be found on the tennis and basketball courts. The fitness center is open daily, and the resort-style pool is a great spot to cool off. Nearby, the CREW Wildlife and Environmental Area provides miles of hiking trails to explore the Florida wilderness. There’s plenty of wildlife to spot, and bald eagles have been seen soaring through the park. And of course, a day on the beach is close by at the sandy shores of Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, just 10 miles away.

Early birds head to First Watch for a tasty breakfast, while Oak & Stone is a community favorite featuring craft beers and artisanal pizza. Weekly groceries and fresh produce can be found at Sprouts Farmers Market nearby. Riptide Brewing Company is close to the neighborhood and offers a good time with live music and beers on tap. Multiple chain restaurants like Five Guys and McDonald’s line Bonita Beach Road.

Spanish-style houses with private pools
The community is relatively newer, with construction occurring between 2016 and 2019. Today, prospective homebuyers will find single-family houses with Spanish-influenced architecture, including tiled roofs and stucco exteriors. Canals and streets wind through the neighborhood, and waterfront views are common. Towering palm trees and well-manicured landscaping make up the front lawns, while private lanais with swimming pools populate most homeowners’ backyards. The price point is attractive when compared to surrounding gated communities. “People are moving in from other cities and they don’t even blink their eyes that you can get a whole house for $2 million,” says Titcomb. Depending on location and square footage, prices range between $900,000 and $2.2 million.
Parklands homes are predominantly built in a Mediterranean style.

“The public school system is pretty ridiculous,” Titcomb says. “A-rated schools across the board.” The Collier County Public School District served Parklands and was voted the fifth-best school district in the state of Florida by Niche. Younger residents begin their education at Laurel Oak Elementary, which received an A rating on Niche and offers numerous academic competitions, including Laws of Life and the Odyssey of the Mind.
