Prestonwood is established and surrounded by golfing and shopping

For Dallas residents looking to spend their free time hitting the links or sampling new restaurants without giving up on highly rated schools or a short commute, Prestonwood ticks all the boxes. Once a quiet prairie on the city’s outskirts, this tree-lined suburb of north Dallas now offers midcentury homes, private golfing and several shopping complexes. “It’s a great corridor. There are beautiful areas, there are also country clubs, trails and the Prestonwood Country Club that are all in that area,” says Kimberly Woodard, a Dallas-metro native and Realtor for Ebby Halliday Realtors. “You’ve got those and then you also have shopping, restaurants, all of that.”
