The neighborhood consists of three subdivisions: Boca Delray Golf and Country Club, Ventura, and Monterey Lake. Boca Delray Golf and Country Club is the largest. The 55-plus community is home to 1980s Postmodern houses and low-rise condos with golf course views. Monterey Lakes and Ventura were developed in the 1990s. They feature Spanish Revival single-family homes. Monterey Lakes also has Spanish Revival townhouses. Across the subdivisions, houses range from just over $400,000 to $900,000, and multifamily properties cost between the low $200,000s and low $500,000. Each community is managed by different homeowners associations.

The pre-law track at Spanish River Community High
The School District of Palm Beach County serves Boca Delray. Orchard View Elementary earns a B-minus on Niche, Omni Middle is graded A-plus and Spanish River Community High has an A-plus. The high school is ranked No. 4 on Niche’s list of Palm Beach County’s best public high schools and offers several magnet programs, including the American History and Law Academy. Boca Delray’s 18-hole executive golf course
Boca Delray’s par 60, 18-hole executive golf course wraps around its subdivisions. On Tuesday mornings at 9 o’clock sharp, the women’s golf association meets. The men’s association does the same on Wednesday mornings. While the golf course is private, memberships are not exclusive to residents of Boca Delray proper, so those in Ventura and Monterey Lake can also join. Governor Lawton Chiles Memorial Park is less than 5 miles away. It’s across the street from a local attraction, Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, a historic plot that was once a Japanese colony. Today, the space pays homage to Japanese culture, art and horticulture.

Restaurants on Military Trail
The 19th Hole Cafe serves breakfast and brunch classics, including omelets, avocado toast and breakfast burritos. Outside of the neighborhood, the closest commercial strip is less than a mile away. Military Trail is the only way in and out of the neighborhood, and the thoroughfare connects residents to various stores, like Walmart and Publix, as well as delicious local restaurants. Poppies Restaurant and Deli has been a casual family-owned staple since the late 1980s. It’s known for generous servings of locally sourced items, from corned beef hash and eggs to gyros, salads and homemade pie. Across the street, Bagel Twins has a menu of classic and unique bagel sandwiches. Fifth Element Bistro and Bar is a newer spot that’s been gaining popularity thanks to its beautiful interior and flavorful Indian cuisine.
Poppies is a popping restaurant with a wide range of menu to choose from.

Getting to and from Boca Delray
Boca Delray is located about 5 miles from Interstate 95 and Florida’s Turnpike. The closest hospital, Delray Medical Center, is only 2 miles away, downtown Delray Beach is 6 miles away, and Palm Beach International Airport is 24 miles north. “The location is great,” Fineman says. “Especially for the ocean. You’re only 5 to 10 minutes from the beach.”
