Neighbors with shopping centers and town hall
The neighborhood of Stone Creek sits at the intersection of Cross Timbers and Morris Road, just a few blocks from the Flower Mound Town Center shopping mall. The neighborhood is even home to the Flower Mound Town Hall. Residents can walk under the shade of mature trees to these businesses. “It has certainly grown in the last decade, but it still has a small-town feel,” says Tim Vibral, who has been a Realtor for nine years with Ebby Halliday. Stone Creek has a crime score of 2 on the CAP Index, lower than the national average of 4. “We moved here 10 years ago and landed on Flower Mound because of the smaller town vibe and really nice schools,” says Vibral. “The schools are crazy good.” Stone Creek is part of the Lewisville Independent School District, which receives an A from Niche.

Large lots with mature foliage throughout
Development for Stone Creek began in 1996 and continued to the very early 21st century; it's a neighborhood of quiet sidewalks, neighbors meeting for swap sales and kids playing in the front yard. New Traditional homes maintain unity with elegant brick builds and modern touches. Common design characteristics include large domed windows and entryways, steep gabled roofing and staggered frames. “Another appeal was the typical lot size seemed bigger, felt like there was more space,” Vibral says. Most residents live comfortably on at least a half-acre, giving plenty of front and backyard space. Some homes also have an in-ground pool in the backyard. Sidewalks line the streets, and it’s not uncommon to see pedestrians on the sidewalks in the cooler hours of the day. Prices for homes range from $400,000 for a four bedroom, 2 bathroom home with about 2,000 square feet to $975,000 for a four bedroom, four bathroom with about 3,550 square feet. Stone Creek is almost entirely owner-occupied, and many residents are their homes' original or secondary owners.
