Located in the northern end of Fort Worth and surrounding its namesake park, Arcadia Park Estates is a peaceful neighborhood with convenient access to the city. “You get the benefits of the big city of Fort Worth. You get the dining, the nightlife, the shopping and the hospitals. But you’re secluded in this little area. You get some of the top Texas schools and none of the traffic,” says Rachel Holmquist, a Realtor with Holmquist and Associates Realty who has a decade of experience. This serene neighborhood in Fort Worth is part of the Keller Independent School District, giving residents the best of both cities.

New traditional homes with large yards

Houses in Arcadia Park are mostly traditional brick homes with spacious built-in garages. The community offers this style in everything from three-bedroom, two-bath houses to six-bedroom homes with four bathrooms. Homes in Arcadia Park typically come with larger yards than other nearby neighborhoods. “The yards here are slightly bigger than in other Fort Worth neighborhoods. These are closer to a quarter acre, whereas the other ones are much smaller,” says Holmquist. Homes in Arcadia Park start at around $300,000 for a three-bedroom house. Four-bedroom houses are typically listed for $400,000 to $500,000. The neighborhood’s luxury five-bedroom homes can cost as much as $800,000.

Families attend A-rated Keller Independent School District

The community has access to one of the area’s best-rated school districts, which is important to buyers. “The school district is definitely something that influences a buyer’s decision in this area,” says eXp Realty agent Shaune Corbett, who has over 20 years of experience. Students in Arcadia Park Estates start at Heritage Elementary School, which earned an overall B grade on Niche. Students then filter into Vista Ridge Middle School, which earned a B-plus, and Fossil Ridge High School, which earned an A. The school has several clubs available to students, including honor societies in multiple subjects, an ultimate frisbee club and a guitar club.

Arcadia Trail Park is an ideal neighborhood for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors, with the vast park system carving a greenbelt through the middle of the community. This expansive park features miles of paved hike and bike trails that meander through open plains and forested areas. Residents can bring sports equipment for tennis, basketball or sand volleyball. Alliance Town Center makes dining and shopping easy

Residents have easy access to shopping and dining with the Alliance Town Center nearby. This large shopping center is home to several chain stores such as Belk, Men’s Wearhouse and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Residents can grab dinner at Mi Cocina, a popular local chain serving elevated Tex-Mex like poblano chicken enchiladas, then catch a movie at the Cinemark. For groceries, there is a Kroger and an Aldi nearby. There is also a Walmart Supercenter at the intersection of Tarrant Parkway and Beach Street for any other errands. For more exciting fun, Holmquist says the Fort Worth Stockyards are just a short drive away down Interstate 35, making it easy for Arcadia Park residents to experience the Old West attraction. Of course, the dining, retail and entertainment of Fort Worth is 12 miles away.

Getting around Fort Worth

For commuting or other trips around the Metroplex, I-35 and I-280 give an easy start. There are Trinity Metro bus stops on major roads near the neighborhood. Dallas is about 40 miles from the community and Arlington is 25 miles away. Medical City Alliance is the closest hospital to residents. When residents want to travel outside the Metroplex, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is 25 miles away.
