Neighbors walking dogs, friends chatting on the sidewalk and bikes zipping by—these are the sights and sounds of Timberland. This North Fort Worth community is a suburban superstar, surrounded by easy-to-access highways and major thoroughfares, located minutes from retail and entertainment hubs and packed with housing options.

Whether you're a Fort Worth commuter who wants green space close to I-35 or you're looking for a great place to raise a family, Timberland’s planned communities, including McPherson Ranch, Steadman Farms, Timberland Estates and Saratoga, hit the mark. Across small but tidy front lawns, you'll find stately brick colonials, contemporary prairie styles with gracious arches, rambling ranch homes and Tudor-revival homes that elegantly combine wood, plaster and stone to create a one-of-a-kind façade. With many of these homes built in the last two decades, you'll commonly see open floor plans and modern finishes like granite and stainless steel in the kitchen. You can match the size of your home to your budget—from $335,000 for three bedrooms and 1,500 square feet up to the high-$600,000s for five bedrooms and a roomy 4,000-plus square feet. To finish the academic journey, A-rated Byron Nelson High School offers students the opportunity to jump-start their future in one of Northwest ISD's specialized academies, the Academy of Biomedical Sciences or the Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality.

Cars are the primary transportation mode in Timberland, but you won't have to drive far to enjoy all the area offers.
