Growing community on the edges of the Houston metro
The Houston suburb of Four Corners has grown in the past 20 years from a simple intersection of four roads into a community of more than 12,000 with an abundance of activities about 23 miles from the metro.

Older and renovated homes at a lower cost
The median price for homes here is $335,000, lower than state and national numbers. Home styles in the area include one and two-story New Traditionals and Tudor revivals. Plots of land are also for sale. Ishfaque Hossain, a real estate agent with Keller Williams Signature, says many of the homes are older but prices are “more reasonable than other parts of the city.” However, residents do need to be mindful of hurricanes and severe storms. The area was heavily affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017, with heavy flooding. However, Hossain says many of the houses in Four Corners were renovated after the storm.

Public and charter school options
This community is served by the Fort Bend Independent School District, which has a Niche grade of A-minus. KIPP Academy West Middle School is a charter school near the community, with a B-plus grade. Houston Community College is located on Bissonnet Street, which is to the east.

Four Corners Community Park
The Four Corners Community Park has 15 acres of space and multiple amenities, including a walking trail, basketball court and a cricket field. Hossain says it is common to see cricket tournaments and families gathering to watch games on the weekends. The park also has a community center for events. Other parks close to Four Corners include the Reginald Moore Community Park, which has exercise stations and several playgrounds.

Shopping and Dining on Texas State Highway 6
Most dining locations in Four Corners are located on Texas State Highway 6 and include a mix of chain and local destinations. Love Bird serves Caribbean food, while Restaurant Los Agaves serves Mexican dishes such as enchiladas and fajitas. Frank N’ Steins Bar & Grill has pool tables and a live DJ. Shopping can also be found on Highway 6, which includes smaller retail shops in the community and several grocery stores such as Aldi and Kroger. Big box retailers and other shopping destinations are located to the south in Sugar Land. The closest hospital to the area is Kindred Hospital Sugar Land.

Highway connections to Houston
Highway 6 leads to the Westpark Tollway to the north, which leads to downtown Houston, while to the south, the highway connects to Interstate 69 in Sugar Land. The closest airports are Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport, over 30 miles to the east, and George Bush Intercontinental Airport, over 40 miles to the northeast.
Crime and industry in Four Corners
Crime statistics in Four Corners are not readily available. Four Corners does have some small local industries, including a tree nursery and auto repair garages. However, to the community's south, GFL Environmental operates a landfill site that handles non-recyclable material. The company has taken steps to protect groundwater and monitor any odors and emissions.
