Page Ranch is part of fast-growing west Hemet
With family-oriented subdivisions and 55-plus communities in one place, Page Ranch appeals to many lifestyles and is in one of Hemet's most recently developed sections. The neighborhood is on the city's west side, with newer homes and a faster commute to Riverside and San Bernadino than east Hemet. “Most of the growth is on the west end of town,” says James Shelby, an agent with Real Brokerage Technologies who has been selling homes in Southern California for over a decade. “If you live on the east end of Hemet, it could take 30 minutes to get to the other side." Its location also puts Page Ranch close to local recreation like Diamond Valley Lake and Mount San Jacinto State Park and within 80 miles of Joshua Tree to the east and the coast to the west. “Hemet is friendly with a deep sense of community, and the desert, mountains and beaches are all within about an hour's drive or less,” says Dave Hume, a Realtor with Vogler Feigen Realty, who has been based in Hemet for over eight years.
Gated streets at Willowalk and model homes at Mountain Valley
Page Ranch has many types of housing, including specialized subdivisions. Multistory contemporary traditional and Spanish Revival homes fill Willowalk, a gated community, and Solera Diamond Valley, one of Hemet’s 55-plus neighborhoods. These properties were primarily built in the 2000s, while the rest of the city was developed between the 1960s and '80s. Most Page Ranch homes sell for $400,000 to $550,000, while gated properties can be $450,000 to $600,000. Mountain Valley, another 55-plus community, features RV lots and manufactured model homes. Prices in this part of Page Ranch range between $70,000 and $150,000. Even with many different sizes and styles of homes, most Page Ranch subdivisions have wide sidewalks and small yards with rock gardens and native plants.
