Main Street features a Stater Bros. Markets, Cardenas Markets and a Walmart Supercenter. Havanazucar Cuban Restaurant serves a popular brunch buffet. Lucky Star Ranchos is roughly 6 miles from the San Bernardino County Fair & Event Center, which annually holds the San Bernardino County Fair around Memorial Day. The fair lasts about a week and includes rides, live music, games and animals. The fairgrounds are also the site of the Wheel2Wheel Raceway, a dirt track that hosts races on Saturdays from March to November. The SBC Fair Jolly Holiday Craft Fair takes over the fairgrounds in mid-December and includes artisan vendors and bounce houses.

The Hesperia Unified School District carries a C-minus grade on Niche. Most young students in Lucky Star Ranchos attend the C-rated Maple School of Innovation for kindergarten to sixth grade. Depending on their address, some students go to the B-minus-rated Cypress School of the Arts for kindergarten through sixth grade.
