Housing surrounds business park in northern Indianapolis

In 1970, the College Life Insurance Company unveiled its newest commercial development in College Park: three 11-story, pyramid-shaped office buildings designed by the famous architect Kevin Roche. Commonly known as "The Pyramids," these buildings sat on a 200-acre commercial development designed to accommodate the College Life Insurance Company's rapidly growing staff. In the following decades, residential development began to rise around The Pyramids, creating the neighborhood we now know as College Park. "The Pyramids have always been the focal point of College Park," says Bob Kincaid, who's sold real estate since 1983 and consistently ranks in the top 7% of Indianapolis real estate agents.
