Located less than two miles away is historic downtown Littleton, which hosts many events for residents to participate in throughout the year. The South Platte Park hosts 880 acres for visitors to explore, including five lakes for fishing. Jackass Hill Park is known for its beautiful sunsets, where people go to sit and enjoy the view of the Front Range mountains in the distance or walk their dogs along the open space.

Residents can be found biking around the local community and, occasionally, taking the light rail into Denver, with a stop provided by the Regional Transportation District located in Heritage. Those heading to Denver International Airport can expect a 44-mile drive along CO-470 East and Colorado E470 North.
