But Pennington also offers access to the interstate less than a mile away, making it easy to get around the city. “It’s got that suburban atmosphere,” says Realtor Lola Adeyemi, an agent with Keller Williams Elite. “But it’s really close to the highways and really accessible to all the things that you need, like food, grocery stores, even gas stations.”

Typical Oklahoma City ranch homes
Like many Oklahoma City suburbs, the 1950s brick ranch-style homes in Pennington are evenly spaced along wide, gently curved residential streets, often with backyards enclosed by tall wooden privacy fences. Many houses retain their midcentury character on the exterior paired with interior renovations to match. “We see a lot of remodeling where they add midcentury modern fixtures inside the homes,” Adeyemi says. “It makes them look really cool and just gives them a real contemporary flair.” Homes generally sell between the mid-$100,000s and mid-$200,000s.
