Locals gather for weekly events such as the Village Marketplace or library programs such as adult crafting. Shopping centers are located throughout the neighborhood, while downtown Lake Worth Beach serves as a cultural center with art galleries and a performing arts theater. Waves lap at the shores of Lake Worth Beach Park just five miles east. Palm Springs Village roads connect with Interstate 95, making for a simple commute to and from the neighborhood.

Palm Springs Village has single-family homes throughout with townhouses and condos on the north end of the neighborhood. Low-lying ranches built in the ‘50s and ‘60s are common and often sit on large lots above 8,000 square feet, leaving room for backyard pools, while smaller villa homes sit closer together. Palm Springs students are part of the Palm Beach County School District, which earns an overall B-plus from Niche. Palm Springs Elementary School gets a C and Palm Springs Middle School gets a C-plus. Older students may attend G-Star High School of the Arts, which Niche ranks the ninth-best high school for the arts in Florida and earns a B-plus.
