Quiet residential district next to Old Town Pittsburg
Centrally located between Suisun Bay and California State Route 4, Central Pittsburg has easy access to local attractions while providing a quiet place to come home to each day. "It's the older side of Pittsburg. The homes are generally small and were built in the 1940s, 50s and 60s," says Leia Hartje, a broker associate with Keller Williams. "They're cute little homes. It's a well-established neighborhood, and people live there for a long time." The cottages and bungalows of this suburban neighborhood are just minutes from popular restaurants, parks and events. Plus, with the highway and Bay Area Rapid Transit station just a few minutes south, commuting around the rest of the region is a breeze.
