Downtown Randolph
Caribbean dining and local tailors
Downtown Randolph is the main place for dining and shopping, with choices ranging from McDonalds and Chipotle to local chains like Flames Restaurant. This Caribbean restaurant offers different specialties at each of its seven locations, and this one serves Jamaican breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes. “It’s a local chain and the one in Randolph, I think, is the best of all of the branches,” Samuel says. Local businesses are also popular around Randolph, with Timmy the Tailor being one of the more well-known shops. “He is the community’s celebrity tailor; he is just that good,” Samuel says. “If you gave him your wedding dress, he’d have it ready by the end of the week.” Residents can shop for groceries at the America’s Food Basket of Randolph or the Shaw's located in Randolph Plaza.Events sponsored by Randolph’s community center and library
While the town of Randolph hosts a number of events, the area is best known for its programs sponsored by the Randolph InterGenerational Community Center, or RICC. Additional outdoor fun for owners and pets can be found at the Randolph Dog Park, which has trails and obstacles to traverse.20th century single-family and multi-family housing
