De Anza Elementary School earns a C rating on Niche, Monte Vista Middle School gets a C minus, and Mountain View High School gets a B-minus rating. Mt. Commuters take State Route 79, the beach isn't far away
State Route 79 flows along De Anza's northeastern side and flows north to south to intersect with Interstate 10 and State Route 74. The beach is about 90 miles away, roughly a two-hour drive. The general hospital, Hemet Global Medical Center, is less than 4 miles south. Palm Springs International Airport is about 40 miles away. Public transportation is available through the Riverside Transit Agency, which offers bus routes through the city.

The nearest shopping is where State Street and West Ramona Expressway meet on the northeastern side of the neighborhood, where there's a convenience store, Dutch Bros Coffee and Castañeda's Mexican Food. Downtown San Jacinto hosts major citywide events
The historic Estudillo Mansion, once home to San Jacinto's first postmaster, is a mile away from De Anza. It is within a mile of De Anza.
