A great place to raise a family
Covering over 11 miles of land and housing a population of over 17,500, Reynolds Corners is one of the largest neighborhoods in the City of Toledo. While the north comprises residential living, shopping and recreation, the south side of Hill Avenue is more industrial. Most homes are midcentury; however, new construction is still ongoing. “Reynolds Corner attracts mainly first-time homebuyers,” says Beth Damasco, a local Realtor who owns a condo building here. “And real estate moves pretty quickly, under two weeks.” Streets are tree-lined and narrow, most without sidewalks, exposing houses with large front yards. “It’s a great area to raise a family,” Damasco says.
The Toledo Botanical Gardens has well maintained lush gardens for visitors of the area to enjoy.
Swan Creek Preserve Metropark is a great spot for families to take a stroll or have a picnic.

Eclectic collection of houses
Reynolds Corners’ homes are an eclectic mix of styles, ranging in price from $80,000 to $338,000. From single-story bungalows and ranch-style houses to split levels, craftsmen and even a few New Traditional Tudors. Lot sizes vary depending on location, ranging from a quarter acre to over one acre. Smaller yards tend to leave just enough space for small gardens, while the larger yards are spacious enough to set up a gathering area and fire pit in the backyard. This area also includes manufactured housing properties and senior living facilities, including Reynolds Senior Village on the south side.

Three parks to choose from
Reynolds Corners has three significant parks: Toledo Botanical Garden, Swan Creek and Wildwood Preserve. “The Botanical Garden started as a city park before they donated it to us,” says Scott Carpenter, Director of Public Relations for the Toledo Metroparks. “It’s by far our highest performer when it comes to visitors.” The garden’s pastoral atmosphere draws lots of people. Residents go to Swan Creek Metropark for serene nature walks along the creek. The 441-acre park is famous for its beautiful views and wildlife observation. On the west side of town, the C.Y.O. Sports Complex offers a unique environment for young athletes, combining sports with faith-based values.
