Spy Glass Hill is just steps away from hiking or biking the serene and winding trails that snake through the Puente Hills. Just south of the neighborhood, Sycamore Canyon Trailoffers a series of magnificent lookout spots, including an old water tower. Another popular spot nearby is Turnbull Canyon, which offers a 4-mile route dotted with sycamore trees, wild sage and yellow-flowering mustard. This stunning habitat was actually created on the site of a former landfill following years of agricultural and oil industry use. But with layers of healthy, vibrant greenery inching over the trail after a spring shower, it can be hard to believe this area was ever used for anything other than outdoor recreation.
