About Aaron

Aaron Chadbourne is the Designated Broker and second-generation owner of Demetria Real Estate, serving buyers and sellers throughout Greater Portland and Southern Maine, including Gorham, Portland, Westbrook, Scarborough, South Portland, and Buxton.

Licensed since 2002, Aaron has spent more than two decades helping clients navigate some of life's biggest transitions—from first homes and growing families to downsizing, relocation, and investment decisions. Demetria Real Estate consistently ranks among the area's top-performing brokerages, with annual sales volume ranging from $30 million to $50 million.

In 2026, Aaron was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Greater Portland Board of REALTORS®, recognizing his leadership, service, and contributions to the real estate profession. He has served as President of the Greater Portland Board of REALTORS®, as a Director of the Maine Association of REALTORS®, and in multiple state and national leadership roles focused on housing policy, advocacy, and professional development.

Nationally, Aaron serves in leadership positions with the National Association of REALTORS® and was one of only 20 REALTORS® nationwide selected for the prestigious NAR Leadership Academy. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including NAR events, Star Power, and Harvard Business School.

Aaron graduated from Harvard College, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Business School before beginning his career at McKinsey & Company and later serving as Senior Policy Advisor to Maine Governor Paul LePage. His background in business, law, negotiation, and public policy provides clients with a unique perspective on the housing market and real estate decision-making.
