About Abraham
In 2008, Abraham’s real estate career began as he embarked on another new journey, that of fatherhood. Abraham and his wife were expecting their first child, Abraham II, and one thing he knew was he wanted to be different from his own childhood was having the opportunity to spend as much time with his family as possible.
Growing up in New Orleans, Abraham’s dad would work long 12-hour shifts. While he’s grateful for his sacrifice, his two-parent home often felt like his mom was the only one there.
Knowing Abraham wanted to provide his future child with a different experience he began looking to change career paths.
Abraham’s wife, Krystal, introduced him to Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter.
From there his world began to change.
At the age of 25 with a new family to care for, he wasn’t able to begin investing in real estate but with his wife’s encouragement, he began his journey as a real estate agent.
In his first full year selling real estate, he was awarded Rookie of the Year as one of the top five agents in the office.
Things were going great, and, in the summer of 2010, Abraham and his wife welcomed a second son, Theodore. But 2010 won’t end on a high note for his family.
In 2012 his wife, Krystal, came on full time as his assistant and they began to work more diligently to execute their relocation plan. They decided they would need to relocate to a safer environment if their goal was to truly give their boys an experience unlike their own.
After researching and considering several parts of the country they decided on Fairfax County, Virginia.
Now closing a business and starting anew in a completely different environment took some planning. By summer 2013 they were happily settled in their new home, and they’ve been living in and loving Fairfax County ever since.
They did the research, and we hope that you can entrust to share what they’ve learned with you. Abraham prides himself in turning the business relationships he’s made into long-lasting relationships and friendships.
Abraham believes it’s his job to educate you on making the right decision, especially if you are making that decision on your own with little information about the area or no relationship with those already living here.
Northern Virginia is the south in name alone, meaning they definitely missed the southern hospitality they were used to coming from Louisiana. Fairfax County is such a transient area that connections don’t come as fast and aren’t as easy to make.
Hopefully, you have a similar experience (if you’re buying a home) or had a similar experience (if you’re selling a home).
