Alana Maffessanti

Alana first found a love of real estate as an investor and rehabber in the Durham-Chapel Hill area. She became a licensed Realtor in 2011 and moved to Topsail Island in 2012. Since joining the Lewis Realty team, Alana has devoted her time to helping people find their dream homes on Topsail Island and in the surrounding communities.

Alana brings her heart for servant leadership to each transaction, ensuring that her clients enjoy a smooth process, whether buying or selling. She believes it is critical for buyers who are new to the area to be educated about the special considerations when buying coastal real estate. She especially enjoys collaborating with first-time buyers who are seeking to make their dreams of home ownership become reality, and she treats clients with the care that she would want her parents or grandparents to experience.

Hailing from the southeast side of Pittsburgh, Alana spent summers vacationing with her family along the North Carolina coast. Her most precious memories are of time spent with her grandparents - visiting the pier, playing in the sand, dropping quarters in the arcade, and eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

After graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Alana realized that “nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina” and made the permanent move south. In her spare time, Alana enjoys volunteering, fixing broken things, making ugly houses pretty, and spending time with family and friends.
