Alex Batley

An alumni of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Alex has been fortunate enough to find success in his hometown of Newport Beach through real estate and the diverse opportunities that come from it. His first job out of college was to help transition an up and coming property management company from paper and pencil, to computer software and develop the first real estate rental website of its kind in the area. In 2002, He went to work for one of the largest homebuilders in the country, Shea Homes, where he learned the ins and outs of home building, managing the homebuyers expectations, and delivering a finished product that pleased all parties involved. Alex directly applied the skills he acquired during his time at Shea Homes, buying and flipping a few homes between 2003 and 2005.

In 2005, Alex went to work for Coldwell Banker, Balboa Island as an assistant to a successful agent. It was while at Coldwell Banker that Alex decided to start his own company that focused on more than just "Getting the next deal", but rather focus on the client and their needs, whether it be to sell the property, manage the property, or just find a tenant. In 2007, Alex, along with his brother Aaron, found a niche in servicing vacation rental properties and developed a service company to do just that. After attaining a CA broker's license, Alex opened Balboa Realty, a full service real estate boutique in the Balboa Village, in 2007.
