My name is Alexandra Aguiar. I am a Bilingual (Spanish & English) licensed Principal Broker, Realtor, GRI in the State of Oregon. I have over 23 years experience in the real estate industry. I can assist, guide, advise and help you achieve your homeownership dreams. Regardless if it is your first, second, third or so home. Let me share a little bit of my background and how I started in RE.
I grew up in the beautiful wine county of Sonoma Valley in CA. I graduated from Sonoma Valley High School and went to Santa Rosa Junior College for almost 4 years. I studied Liberal Studies and Art. I wanted to be a Kindergarten or Elementary Teacher. I have a beautiful daughter. Who is my rock, my motivation and inspiration. I bought my first home in Santa Rosa near the SRJC when I was about 19 years old. I still remember it. It was a 3 bed, 1 bath, 1 car garage bungalow style with beautiful hardwood floors and everything outdated. I still remember the address of that house. It was purchased for less than $160K I think and it is worth almost $700K now. Unfortunately, things changed and we had to move to another state. Oregon was not even in our minds but Vancouver, WA was. We visited Vancouver, WA during winter and were not impressed by it. We never really been to Oregon only drove by. However, a friend of mine who was supposed to move to Salem between 1999-2000 asked if we could drive him to meet up with some family members. He ended not moving, We did!. We toured Salem and Keizer and fall in love with Keizer. It was a small town. We went back to CA and sold our home in CA before the prices went up in 2001 and made enough money to put a down payment on a house in Keizer. We bought it for about $135K a 4/2 (I still have that home now worth about $485K). This is when I decided to change my careers from education to becoming a licensed Realtor in OR so I could teach and help people see the value of becoming homeowners and how they can reach financial freedom and build wealth. I have been doing RE since then one way or the other from helping hundreds of people make their dreams of owning a home come true. I helped even the ones who thought it will never be possible. I am very passionate about assisting, guiding, and helping people with hitting their goals and build their RE portfolios. Owning a home is a Privilege not a right. Every client is different, unique with a different situation and an individual case. I focus on their wants, needs and goals. I have great negotiating skills. I help sellers get as much as possible and help buyers get the best price and terms possible. I also work with Investors on distressed properties, foreclosures, REOs, bank owned properties. We do fixer ups. I honestly do not think there is another better way of building financial freedom and wealth then owning your home and a few rentals so you can have and earn passive income. The benefits of owning a home are endless and all the equity you build each year the prices go up. I've now been in Oregon for 23 year. I love it here. We have a lot of outdoor activities. We have lakes, rivers, beaches, lots of hiking spots, snow, night life etc. I will gladly share my own personal and professional experience and strategies when investing in any real estate market. Because experience does matter and makes a big difference when wanting and expecting results!. Let me put my experience and expertise to work for you.
