Alice McMahon

Alice Fox McMahon has been a licensed real estate broker for over 40 years. During this time, she has assisted hundreds of buyers, sellers, and renters with their housing needs.

Alice is a problem solver, multitasker and successful negotiator. She has the patience and dedication needed to achieve a pleasant, stress-free transaction. She has extensive knowledge of the communities she serves and provides informed expertise to her clients. Her primary business is repeat buyers and sellers, their families, and personal referrals.

As an expert on area neighborhoods, Alice has a thorough knowledge of the architectural legacy that defines the local communities. While raising her family, she painstakingly restored a registered Prairie home in Oak Park. She has remodeled several other properties and is a valuable resource for clients as they reimagine their homes.

Alice currently serves on the Board of Directors, Professional Standards Committee and Special Events Committee of the Oak Park Area Association of Realtors®. She holds the membership in the Illinois and National Associations of Realtors®. In addition, Alice has credentials as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Short Sale Foreclosure Resource Certification (SFR) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES).

Alice grew up in River Forest but has lived in Oak Park for more than 40 years, where she raised her five children. She graduated from Barat College with a B.A. in English Literature and completed further studies at Northwestern University. She has served on the pastoral board of St. Giles Parish, the Education Committee of the Oak Park Office of Community Relations, as a volunteer at the Economy Shop, and as a member of the Infant Welfare Society.
