Alicen Blanchard

Alicen Blanchard joined Overby Residential in 2014 and brought a decade of project and program management skills to her career. Prior to becoming a licensed real estate professional and investor, she spent 10 years in design, project management and strategic planning and development, serving the Mississippi Children’s Museum as Director of Exhibits and Education and overseeing a 25-person department. From this, Alicen has built a strong connection base of contacts in the construction industry, both residential and commercial.

Her professional career began as a high school teacher, but her dream has always been to invest in real estate. She owns and manages a portfolio of residential and commercial real estate and believes that successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others.

Alicen is an investor friendly agent who is passionate about making her community a better place to live and work. She has been very involved civically in the Jackson community, serving on several non-profit and school boards.

A resident of the Jackson Metro area since 1992, Alicen has lived in Jackson, Ridgeland, and Madison and is familiar with neighborhoods, schools, community services, and the people of central Mississippi. She currently lives in Madison with her husband and their two dogs.
