About Alison

Alison Cox's life has been marked by various experiences and transitions. Born and raised in Lynchburg, VA, she pursued her education at Longwood College and graduated in 1995 with a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. Following her passion for teaching, Alison embarked on a career in education.

Her journey took a turn when she married an Infantry Officer, leading her to Fort Benning for their initial assignment. Over the years, they experienced different duty stations, deployments, and the joy of raising two children. Despite the challenges and relocations, Fort Benning became a familiar home for Alison in 2004. Subsequent moves took her to Fort Leavenworth, KS, and Fort Campbell, KY, where she continued her teaching career.

Feeling that something was missing in her life, Alison contemplated a change and considered a career in sales. After much thought, she decided to transition away from teaching and pursued a real estate license in TN. Her first year in real estate proved successful, with Alison closing over $2.5 million in sales.

Duty called once again, and the family moved to Arlington, VA, where Alison resumed her teaching role for three more years. Eventually, her husband's assignment as the Fort Benning Garrison Commander brought them back to Columbus, GA. With a sense of joy and familiarity, Alison and her family decided to make Columbus their permanent home, transitioning from military service and starting a new chapter of their lives.

With a commitment to excellence, Alison has dedicated herself to a successful real estate career in Columbus. Over the past five years, she has served over 300 families, demonstrating her passion for delivering top-notch service and building lasting relationships. Alison's average annual production of almost $20 million reflects her dedication and proficiency in the real estate industry. As she pursues this new chapter in Columbus, she continues to contribute to the community while pursuing her passion for real estate.
