Alison was born and raised in Calhoun County and attended Alexandria High School. After graduating, she went on to the University of North Alabama and University of Central Oklahoma where she played on the volleyball team. Her major was social science with a concentration in education.
Real estate had been a part of her life since she was young, and she always thought she might follow in her father's footsteps. While still in college, she began her career as a leasing agent at a local apartment complex in Edmond, Oklahoma. She worked her way up to a management position over the next five years and then took a job traveling the southeast to open new construction apartment complexes near major universities. Once she became fully acquainted with the career, she was fully invested.
In 2015, she and her husband made the decision to move back to Alabama to be closer to family and friends. Since her hometown didn't have many large management companies, she decided to use her education degree and became a K4 teacher. Although she enjoyed teaching, she knew real estate was her true passion and eventually made the switch back to it. While working for a local real estate company, she obtained her Alabama Real Estate License and managed single family and multifamily homes.
She always had dreams of opening her own property management company, and soon after her return to Alabama, she was given the opportunity to do so. Now, 19 years later, she partnered with Kelly Amis and Chris Lindsey to form Good Faith Property Management and Good Faith Realty in January of 2020. Despite COVID's negative impact on several small businesses, their first year was blessed.
In 2021, she became a new agent in the state of Georgia. If anyone has any questions about the buying or selling process, she would be delighted to assist.
