Born and raised in Omaha, NE, Alycia Prince is a second-generation realtor following her father, Oscar Barrera's, footsteps. Her interest in real estate sparked at an early age due to all the long car rides, house showings, and office meetings she tagged along with her dad. She was introduced to the grind with a front row seat of what it takes to be successful. Her father has been a strong role model, as he has built his success from the ground up. This inspired her love for the work that it takes to be an effective agent and molded her to be the dedicated, hard worker that she is today.
As a young adult, Alycia started waiting tables at a restaurant, which instilled excellent customer service, thoroughness, and communication skills. Her kind, respectable reputation turned new guests, into her regulars. The skills she learned from serving have not only amplified her personality in the service industry but pushed her to the best of her abilities when interacting with others in the real world.
At the age of nineteen, Alycia and her husband purchased their first home together while living in Panama City Beach, Florida, which only continued to fuel her passion for properties. By being involved in the homebuying process and becoming a homeowner, she only became more attracted to the world of real estate. Aside from being a dedicated worker, wife, and daughter, Alycia is a proud dog mommy to a two-year-old German Shepherd named Luna. Her and her husband love to do outdoor activities with Luna, as being active and healthy is an important habit in their life.
Alycia is extremely empathetic and sensitive towards home buyers/seller’s needs, especially to those that are military members and their families because she is one. She has been married for three beautiful years to an airman and takes her role as an Air Force wife very seriously. Because of this she understands the support and strength it takes to keep a household running while their military members serve their country so honorably.
She has experience dealing with PCSing, deployments, TDY's, relocations, and other military obligations and is aware of all the sacrifices and duties the person holding down the fort back home is dealing with. She not only wants to be there to help be the support system for military families but is driven to do what it takes to make sure those holding down the fort, have a safe, stable, and warm fort to hold down.
With her work ethic, drive, thoroughness, personal experience, customer service skills and kind heart combined she will not only successfully get them to their destination but naturally make them feel like they are working with a friend.
