About Amanda
Rooted in North Texas and proudly serving McKinney, Allen, Frisco, and great North Texas region, Amanda Anderson is a REALTOR® known for combining local expertise, relocation insight, and a relationship-first approach to real estate. As a native North Texan with deep ties to the region, she helps buyers, sellers, and relocating families navigate the market with confidence, care, and local knowledge that only comes from lived experience.
Raised on a small farm in Fannin County and a graduate of Texas A&M University, Amanda has witnessed the remarkable growth of North Texas firsthand. As the wife of a Marine Corps officer and mother of two sons, she understands the emotional and logistical challenges that often come with moving. Her family’s journey took them across the country, including Oklahoma, California, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and Arizona, giving her a unique perspective on relocation and transition.
In 2012, following the loss of her husband, Major Nathan Anderson, she developed an even deeper appreciation for resilience, service, and helping others through life’s major changes. Those values continue to shape the compassion and dedication she brings to every client relationship.
Her roots in North Texas run deep, and she believes strongly in giving back to the community she serves. Amanda is dedicated to volunteering and supporting veterans, military families, and individuals in need throughout the local community, reflecting the same spirit of service that has guided her family’s life for years.
Beyond real estate sales, Amanda has personally restored two historic homes in downtown McKinney, living in and managing them as successful short-term rentals while contributing to the preservation of the city’s historic charm. Her firsthand experience with renovations, investment properties, and historic homes gives clients valuable insight few agents can offer.
She is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2001, serves on the Board of Directors for the McKinney A&M Club, and is honored to be part of the Texas Heartland Group at Ebby Halliday REALTORS®. Whether clients are relocating across the country or moving across town, she is committed to making every step of the process informed, seamless, and personal.
