Amy Almond is a native Virginian who has lived in the Hampton Roads area her entire life and now call Yorktown home. Her knowledge and first-hand experiences of Hampton Roads and its many fine cities, communities and unique neighborhoods have prepared her well for helping anyone looking to relocate here or even move within the area. Prior to beginning my Real Estate career, Amy worked as a property manager supporting diverse types of conventional rental properties and military communities. Amy receives lots of personal satisfaction in meeting new people and assisting them in finding their dream house. Nothing pleases her more than making sure my clients are happy with the choices they make among the areas and options she introduces to them. Her highest priority is ensuring you are fully informed and have access to all available information so you can make the best possible decision for yourself and family. Amy can’t imagine a more enjoyable career than helping my clients pick out their ideal home and begin many years of lasting memories in the beautiful Hampton Roads area.
She wants you to be very comfortable working with her and sharing your requirements, preferences and opinions. We are a team. Therefore, it’s important you know a little more about my personal style and me. She is not a pushy salesperson; She is here to assist you in navigating through the process of buying or selling a house. One of the things she likes most about being a Realtor is she gets to help happy people make exciting decisions! Amy even teaches a home-buying class once a month and welcome everyone to attend this informative program. The seminar identifies things you need to know and guides you through all the steps of the purchasing process. Just ask her about it.
On a more personal note, Amy has two kiddos who are 16 & 17. These big guys are her pride and joy, and are her biggest supporters and cheerleaders. They have also been know to assist her clients with moving and landscaping among other tasks. In turn, as a Mom, she is their greatest fan and admire their boundless energy, involvement in sports and all sorts of school activities. In her “spare time,” she enjoys running, swimming, soaking up the warm days, and most of all traveling.. Well -- you get the idea -- she loves to be outdoors! Her father and brother are local business owners, so her entrepreneurial side comes from them and her grandmother, who was also a successful realtor for many years.
