About Amy
Amy spent many years as "the backup singer," standing in the shadows and assisting agents as they helped people realize their dreams. However, she decided to take her many talents (and heels) front and center for her clients. Since the time she was a little girl, real estate had been a part of her life. This developed her passion for houses, helping others, and style.
Watching her father build houses, sell mobile homes, manage multi-family homes, and grow up flipping houses, owning rentals, managing a multi-office real estate company, being an agent care administrator, broker's assistant, MLS director, and agent trainer, and finally becoming a licensed assistant, all prepared her to connect her clients with their dream homes. Whew, that was a mouthful!
As important as all those skills were, it was just as important for her to know the neighborhood. She was a mother of three Hurricane-raised girls (one of whom is currently a teacher in Cabell County and a graduate student at Marshall University, while her "baby" is a graduate of Marshall and works at Marshall). Her oldest daughter was raising three fabulous grandkids who were students at Milton Elementary and Middle School. Her life was centered around the Kanawha/Putnam/Cabell communities, and she was excited to share her passion for West Virginia with both newcomers and those already living there who wanted to explore a different neighborhood.
She had a big personality and loved to laugh, so when working with her, there was never a dull moment! Selling and/or buying a home could be very stressful, and she worked hard to make it a pleasurable experience for her clients.
