Amy and her husband moved to Beaufort years ago as newlyweds from Waycross, Georgia. They were drawn to the coast, the marshes and the beautiful vistas found in the Low country. Having a background in sales and marketing, they saw an opportunity to realize their professional and personal dreams. Beaufort was the place they wanted to invest and buy property, as well as settle down and start a family.
As the years have gone by, they have enjoyed success while developing Battery Point Subdivision, Wrights Point Plantation, and Polowana Island. She has learned what it takes to transform a piece of land to marketable, sellable, residential, and commercial property. She feels confident that she can handle and meet any real estate need that you may have.
As in business, Beaufort has also been a blessing to them personally. It is where her three girls, Morgan, Mary Hampton, and Amelia have grown up. It has been a rich and rewarding time.
Their love of the water runs through their veins as well. They are avid boaters and have enjoyed cruising the local waterways as well as doing the “Great Loop” with their girls. Along the way they have seen many beautiful places, but none as lovely as Beaufort. Fishing is also a favorite pastime of theirs in the Lowcountry, whether it be in the lush, deep waters, the tidal creeks, or the flats, it is all great. They play and enjoy competitive tennis in their area. They have several nationally known tennis academies located close by in Hilton Head and it is a wonderful opportunity for her youth.
For a small town, Beaufort also offers a wide variety of educational options to meet any child’s needs. Having been a founding board member of a small classical school, she is equipped to answer any questions you may have for your own child. She is a member of the Parish Church of St. Helena’s, where adults and youth enjoy activities and diverse opportunities to serve the community.
