Amy Reid

Amy was born and raised in Missouri and considers Southwest Missouri her home. She has lived in Southwest Missouri for 11 years with her husband, Ryan and their two kids, Keira aged twelve and Finley who is four. They have two dogs, a red and blue healer. They enjoy anything outdoors including hunting deer and turkey on their no cell service eighty acres in Ava, it is their little escape. She also enjoys target practicing with her husband who has served in the military for over 10 years, with a tour to Iraq in 2008. She is a proud American as well as military spouse who appreciates all the sacrifices every branch and their families make each day.

Amy has a 12-year background in healthcare, with most of that time spent working in skilled nursing facilities as a Certified Nurse Aid and Certified Medication Technician. Before coming on board with Murney Associates, she worked for Mercy Hospital, Springfield in the Surgery Dept. She has a passion for being a true service to others.

Amy has always had a love of real estate and remembers her first home buying experience as an exciting yet nerve wracking one. Given her experiences in healthcare through the years, being able to share the joys and being a voice of reason was important to Amy so taking a giant leap and career change to become a Missouri Licensed Realtor just made sense to her; she was combining both of her loves. There is still ebb and flow to each transaction for every client and she has a genuine sense of happiness and accomplishment to alleviate any stress/ concerns.

Continuing to pursue her love of helping others in this new way, carrying over her core values of challenging work along with being very meticulous in the quality of care that she believes everyone deserves. She uses her experience to care for each client and their distinct needs through open communication that creates lifelong relationships.

Amy is a member of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors as well as the National Association of Realtors. She has the foresight and is initiative-taking by nature to see the smallest of details in every transaction and prevent them from becoming problematic further down the road, to make your home buying or selling process run smoothly and efficiently.
