About Amy
In her nearly 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry, Amy Timmerman of The B.A.R. Group has accomplished much. She is represented hundreds of clients, mentored new agents, built a brokerage of over three hundred agents, flipped, and built new homes alongside her contractor husband, and has been the number one agent in Lake Highlands year after year, along with being a top agent in neighboring areas.
Amy brings marketing expertise, compassionate guidance, and a client-first approach to every transaction. Her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University in advertising and studio art gives Amy a keen eye for design and the competitive advantage in marketing homes for sale.
Professionally, Amy has been awarded D Magazine Best Realtor, D Magazine Top Producer, Advocate Top 25 Agents, and Texas Monthly Five Star Award. Also, as an advocate for the community, Amy was the first recipient of the coveted Realtor Association Ebby Halliday Community Service Award after chairing the Chi Omega Christmas Market for two consecutive years. She was also awarded the American Cancer Society Corporate Hero Circle and has served as a past president of one hundred Women of Lake Highlands, a board member for Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League and Lake Highlands Women’s League. Amy currently serves on the SMU Chi Omega Housing Corporation Board and on her children’s school PTA Boards.
Amy is the mother of Brayden and Kallie, and she is married to Brent Timmerman who runs construction for a national company. When Amy is not in the office, you might find her at the Dallas Athletic Club practicing her tennis swing, at a Lake Highlands football game cheering for the Wildcats or serving her community.
