Andrea is awesome! As first time home buyers in a market like the current one, we weren’t sure what to expect. Andrea made the whole process fun and enjoyable! We had a list of wants and needs and she helped us be realistic and ultimately helped us get our dream home! I will definitely recommend her to anyone I know looking to buy a house!

I have never sold a house before, so Andrea stepped me through and explained the entire process. There is so much red tape that I am very glad that I went with a professional like Andrea and Patterson-Schwartz versus trying to do it on my own. Andrea in particular went above and beyond in order to help me out. My job is very demanding, so when there were water issues found, she arranged for the plumber and even met him at the house. It took 5 trucks from Artesian in order to turn off the water and she was there to make sure that they came and it was fixed. This type of thing would have ruined my workday. I can't thank Andrea enough for managing this and the million other issues that cropped up. Buying or selling a home? Get Andrea to make it as smooth as possible.

Andrea Carbough proposed a plan to prepare our house for sale & used our input. Since this was an Estate sale, Andrea kept us well informed during the selling process. She recommended craftsman to satisfy the home inspection items. Because of her foresight, we always felt confident.

Let’s face it, selling a home that’s been a part of our life for 25 years which is/was the home where we raised our only daughter, invested blood, sweat, tears and hard earned money, gained valuable friendships with neighbors, etc, etc, etc is emotional enough but now throw in the COVID/political climate of 2020... Simply could not imagine going through the home selling/buying process in this 2020 roller coaster ride without the professionalism, care, insight, guidance, honest to goodness direct advice, thoroughness, and true compassion of Andrea Carbaugh! Think about it and I can’t think of anything (other than a family challenge which we both went through in 2020) that has such an emotional and financial impact than selling/buying a home, not a house, a home. I’m certainly no real estate guru but after our first few meetings even before we decided to sell, we knew we were in great and trusting real estate hands with Andrea and Patterson Schwartz. Always stressing moments but working with Andrea took a tremendous amount weight off my shoulders knowing whatever came up was going to be handled by Andrea or was provided best advice on what steps we need to take. Every contractor recommended was spot on and we were able to handle all requested repairs before closing. Through the efforts of Andrea and Patterson Schwartz we had so many appts to show the house we had to get a hotel room for 3 days and then were blessed with 16 buyers offers! Frazzled (me) to begin with and again refer to my non-guru real estate knowledge comment, we had to review, analyze and decide what the best offer/fit was to sell our home. Andrea throughly explained in great detail every line of each and every contract. By the end of the night we chose the best contract which knowing what I know now was certainly the best and most fair offer. To much to note here as so much back & forth goes on from For Sale sign post in ground to closing the deal in the real estate title lawyers office but believe me when I say Andrea is the go to real estate agent to get it done the way things are supposed to be done and then some. She even helped with questions and provided advice for us buying a home even though (and unfortunately) wasn’t our agent as it was out of state and a bit too far out of her service area. Only regret is I wish I had this review in earlier.
