Andres Gomez

Andres Gomez is the Founder and President of VIAM Real Estate. His passion for real estate dates back further than VIAM’S founding to conversations he had with his grandfather while growing up in Colombia. An entrepreneur and real estate investor himself, his grandfather sparked an interest in Andres to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and passion in the real estate market.

After spending his youth in Colombia, Andres returned to his birthplace of Charlotte, N.C. to pursue an education in International Business Administration at the University of North Carolina (UNCC). Following graduation, Andres strategically pursued roles within the real estate market, including mortgage loan offer, public insurance adjuster, and positions in sales. In 2010 with the support of his grandfather, Andres embarked on his first real estate investment project. He is the first to admit that the support of his family has been crucial to the success of his investment companies.

As Andres’ companies grew and continued buying real estate properties in neighborhoods near Uptown Charlotte, Andres expanded his service offerings to his family and clients by becoming a realtor/broker in 2012.

Currently, Andres invests in the development and construction of brand new spec homes. He has invested in and sold over $50 Million of his own projects. He works with investors, builders and developers assisting them to locate opportunities, connect with vendors and navigate the rehab, development, construction and sales process of any investment project. Andres also represents homebuyers and homesellers, helping them find their first or next dream home.

When Andres is not pursuing his love of real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling -- including frequent trips to see his family in Colombia. He is an avid reader, loves soccer and is an active member of his local church. He is also a member of King City Mastermind, a Charlotte real estate group. He resides in Charlotte, N.C. with his wife Audrey and their seven children.
