Andrew was a fantastic realtor to work with as first time home buyers. We appreciated his ability to listen and show us houses in our price range and in the neighborhoods we were interested in. Andrew provided a select few alternatives to give us an idea of what the broader market looked like and what options we had at the high and low end of our price range and what features we might want that we hadn't thought of while coming up with our "ideal purchase" model. I can't say enough about how great it was working with Andrew. From our first meeting until settlement, Andrew had my best interest in mind. He did what he said he would do during the entire time that the house was for sale. He dealt with complicated situations i.e. well pump breaking down, oil needing to be hauled away. I was no longer living in MD so I counted on Andrew to take care of things with vendors who had to be contacted. I put my trust in him, and was never disappointed. He earned my trust right away. Working with Andrew to buy our first home was such a positive experience! From the first message, he was extremely responsive and worked hard to make sure he knew what we were looking for in a house and neighborhood. Once we were ready to start looking at places, he continued to send us listings and helped us narrow down the options. By the time we met Andrew, we had been looking for a home for over a year, and had worked with multiple agents unsuccessfully. The hype isn’t hype, it’s just the truth. Andrew is the gold standard of realtors. After months of working with another agent who truly couldn’t have cared less if we ever found a house, my husband and I were absolutely defeated and ready to give up.

Andrew is incredible at what he does. This is going to be long because Andrew deserves to have an in depth review. If you are unsure about using him, please read the whole review and then hire Andrew.

My wife and I decided it was time to move out to the suburbs as we needed more space. With a new child AND Covid we were a little overwhelmed having to drive 35 minutes to look at homes. Andrew proactively offered to go to homes first and Face-time with us. This was huge as new parents so we did not need to waste our time and energy physically going to places we ultimately would not be interested in. The first time we actually physically looked at places, we saw 3 homes and loved one of them. this was a "hot home" and due to Covid you could see how many people were scheduled to tour - which was close to 30 over 3 days. We knew quickly we wanted this home. Andrew immediately had called 3 lenders to go over rates available that day as well as coming up with a strategy of how to make an aggressive offer while offering 15k under list price. We had an offer sent to the sellers within hours. The seller immediately responded asking if we could come up to list price. Andrew did an amazing job negotiating. Especially when the seller said they had only just listed and had many more showings and wanted to wait a few days to see what other offers were made. Andrew did not accept that answer. He pushed hard for over an hour with the sellers while we anxiously awaited the news. I do not know exactly what was said in that call though I can tell you the sellers caved and accepted our offer below list with close to 30 showings still scheduled. WOW!!! . He even made them kick in a really good home warranty as we had some concerns about the water heater and HVAC. More to come on that.

Both when touring homes and then during the home inspection Andrew was incredibly handy in terms of pointing out how we can change things around- ie. expand kitchen, open the house up further by knocking down walls that are not load bearing etc. He also was very good at pointing out any potential issues or concerns with appliances like the water heater and hvac. He understands what makes a house good or bad.

I believe for Andrew, its not about just making the sale. He genuinely cares about his clients. We wanted the walls painted and floors redone to our taste before moving in but were scheduled to be at the beach on vacation the week it needed to be done. Andrew set us up with a great contractor and then periodically stopped by to check up on the work and report back to us. Also while we were on vacation a big tree branch in our yard fell on our new neighbors garage. Andrew is the one who actually told us and got us in contact with our neighbor and counselled us through how to handle it.

We moved in 3 weeks ago and Andrew has reached out to see how we settled in. He stopped by today with Carbon Monoxide detectors that he installed just because he wanted to make sure we were safe. As with any house, there are always some issues that arise. The water heater already broke and because of Andrews foresight the home warranty covered the replacement which was close to $1,500. We are also having a couple other issues. When Andrew was here, he looked at those things and told us what items on our list were not issues and why and what things were issues and how to handle them. He also referred us to an electrician, pest management company, locksmith and carpenter. All highly rated. Lastly he is letting my wife pick out a couple tree's to be planted in our backyard as a gift for her and dropped off a bottle of wine as a gift for me ;)

To say Andrew is a great realtor, service oriented, and extremely knowledgeable of the market is simply not enough. He is hands down the best at what he does bar none. When we bought our house Andrew:

- Helped us get to know the area with guided house showings
every week
- Did write ups and drove us around different neighborhoods to

contractors are also very good and affordable. I would definitely
recommend you use Andrew as your realtor if you ever have the
opportunity.

When we sold our house Andrew:
- did a lot of prep work with us to get the house ready for market.
- helped find and coordinate all contractors, cleaners, and inspectors needed
- did a ton of advertising the week before the house went on the market
- again was excellent in coordinating with all contractors and other parties during the closing process

We didn't really have to worry about anything because Andrew basically took care of everything end to end. We ended up closing with an offer above asking with multiple offers, and almost $100K above comps in the neighborhood. Absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about Andrew. Andrew is a phenomenal agent and was a joy to work with. He takes the process extremely seriously, almost like he's buying a house for himself. He offers great insight into different options, and has a great eye for great deal fixer-uppers vs. unfixable wrecks and top-notch move in ready properties vs. facades hiding real problems. He took us to literally dozens of properties to help us find the house that was best for us.

Once we did find that house, Andrew was an absolute champ at managing the entire negotiation process. He helped us design an offer that beat out higher competing ones, and got us a huge seller credit and seller-paid repairs to top it off. At the closing, outside of Andrew's presence, the settlement attorney saw the amount of the credit and actually said "Great job, Andrew!"

Even after we closed, Andrew continued to help us by putting us in touch with a variety of contractors across several different trades to help us with the maintenance and upgrades we wanted. He seems to know everybody in the building/construction industry and all of his contacts are top notch.

We could go on like this for days. The bottom line is, talk to Andrew and see if you want him to be your agent. We're glad we found him as ours and are thrilled with the house he helped us get.

If you’re looking for a responsive, diligent, trustworthy agent who can walk you through finding and purchasing your first home, then look no further than Andrew. We met Andrew quite accidently, when we were just starting to consider buying our first home, and it was one of the greatest fortunes we could have hit on. Andrew patiently stuck with us and helped us scout things out and refine our options over a year before we were really serious about buying a home. Then, when we told him we were ready, he arranged for us to view some exceptional houses in short order. He helped us assess houses based on our needs, which included space for a toddler and possibly an expanded family. We actually found two houses that we liked, and Andrew helped us strategize on where to put our first bid down and how much to offer. These tips were invaluable and helped us eventually land in our perfect house in Bethesda, at below asking price. We met Andrew after our home didn't sell with the previous agent. Andrew provided super responsive communication - usually within minutes - even at odd hours of the night and morning. He always provided hands-on personal service like he was helping his own family prep and sell a home. We found Andrew to be vey genuine - really an authentic commitment to help our family coordinate every aspect of our home sale from start to finish, even doing some cleaning and repair details himself that other Realtors would not have gotten dirty with. It's clear that Andrew enjoys helping people through real estate. Andrew had willingness to do ANYTHING to help make sure that our home sold successfully and on time - one example is his hauling heavy firewood himself from outside to build a fire in two fireplaces to heat the home up and prevent plumbing freezes - and stay to monitor it - when a power outage knocked power/heat out for days before settlement and we had already moved out of state! Most importantly he suggested a real winning combination of priority home improvements that were key to making our home sell $10,000 over list price in JUST 3 hours of being on market, after our home had had several price reductions, no offers, and sat idle on the market with a previous Realtor for over 100 days. Beyond Realtor, Andrew coordinated all of the home improvements and repairs with a wonderful local network of contractors - and he even advanced the money when necessary to keep work moving and our home sale on track. It truly was a pleasure working with Andrew. Within a week of our first meeting we had an offer accepted on a wonderful home. We were first time homebuyers and despite having little knowledge of the process or the area Andrew successfully navigated us through the system.

Personality: Andrew was easy to work with and quickly understood our style/tastes in homes. He spent several hours over dinner at an initial meeting getting to know us before we even mentioned any properties. He did not push us to buy too much house or to look at places that did not fit our wants/needs. He paid special attention to details like the fact that we wanted “line of sight” from the kitchen to living room to keep an eye on our young kids during meal prep.

Dedication: He literally did whatever was necessary to “close the deal” even holding our 6-month old on his lap during our inspection so we could focus on getting to know the property.

Expertise: Andrew had great skill in the negotiating/deal-making aspect of the purchase. There were multiple offers on the home we purchased and although ours was not the highest price it was accepted. We also were able to successfully negotiate several seller repairs on the property once we were under contract. In hearing war stories from friends who have purchased in this market I think both of those facts are exceptional.

Network: As first time homebuyers new to the Maryland area we relied heavily on Andrew’s network of lenders, movers, inspectors. I think our use of his recommended lender (a local mortgage company instead of national chain) played a large role in our offer being accepted by the seller. Now that we have moved in these continue to be our go-to providers of services.

Overall I would definitely recommend Andrew. He was highly competent/professional and easy/enjoyable to work with

Andrew is an excellent realtor and I can't recommend him enough. He helped us as we searched for the right place that met our needs for space, commute, schools, and price. Throughout the process Andrew was responsive, always available, and put in a huge amount of time to show us houses and scout neighborhoods. He immediately honed in on the key features of our search and what was important to us, and kept fine-tuning as we saw and reacted to more places. This meant we didn't spend time looking at places that wouldn't be right, and Andrew frequently talked us out of seeing a place that wouldn't be worth our time or effort. I always felt that he was on our side and looking out for our interests, and never once felt that he was pushing us into something that wasn't right. There were several houses that we liked but were getting overpriced in bidding wars, and he kept us out of it and prevented us from overpaying, always a nice differentiator in an agent. While he was excellent throughout the process, where he really shined was in winning the deal and getting the house under contract when we found the one we wanted. His know-how, dedication, connections, and zeal made a huge difference, and he pulled out all the stops to ensure we walked away with the house under contract. He had already earned my admiration, but that sealed the deal. As a first time homebuyer in the DC area, I can't imagine working with another agent. Andrew guided me through the entire process and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. He is extremely knowledgeable in the industry and helped point out pros and cons of the homes we viewed together, most of which I wouldn't even have thought of (these floors are real hardwood, this might be noisy at night, etc).
