About Andy
Andrew S. "Andy" Ponticos is a seasoned real estate professional, entrepreneur, and creative producer whose work bridges the worlds of property development and entertainment. A proud graduate of Florida State University, Andy earned his degree in the summer of 2002 and has held his Florida real estate license since January of that same year—beginning his career while still a student in Tallahassee.
Alongside his parents, Steve E. Ponticos and Nancy Grace Shedd Ponticos, Andy co-founded their family real estate business, which grew as a complement to other entrepreneurial ventures. Over the years, their efforts have evolved from traditional homebuilding into larger, long-term developments, focusing on sustainable growth, community enrichment, and strategic investment.
With a strong commitment to philanthropy and community service, Andy and his family have consistently volunteered and supported causes that reflect their values. Their business portfolio includes real estate sales, home construction, luxury apartment communities, and RV resort development across Florida’s expanding Nature Coast.
Currently, Andy serves as Vice President of Stillwater RV Resort, where he leads planning, operations, and marketing initiatives. His father, along with partners Larry and John, manages the construction and physical development aspects of their projects. Since 2016, Andy has spearheaded marketing and advertising for Sweetwater Homes, working both on-site and remotely, specializing in the sale of vacant commercial and residential land.
Andy’s journey in real estate is also deeply personal. In 2006, he became a proud owner of a Sweetwater Home at 8 Cosmos Ct E—having overseen its custom design and construction. He still owns land for a future build in Sugarmill Woods, a region he passionately champions.
Now dividing his time between Florida and Georgia, Andy has found a second home in the thriving film industry, working part-time as an assistant writer, producer, and director for motion pictures. He brings the same passion and vision to creative storytelling as he does to real estate and business development, always remaining open to new ventures and opportunities that align with his entrepreneurial spirit.
Born in Brooksville, Florida, and having lived in Clearwater, Homosassa, and several cities along the East Coast—including Boston, Washington D.C., Georgetown, Kingsville, Bel Air, and Chevy Chase—Andy brings a diverse and insightful perspective to his work. He remains committed to helping others discover the beauty and opportunity in the Nature Coast region and beyond.
