Angela Black Drake is a seasoned real estate professional with strong personal and professional ties in Charleston. Residing in historic downtown Charleston with her husband Lucas Drake (an original Charlestonian), her knowledge and connections in the region have led her to specialize in luxury properties in downtown Charleston, the award-winning planned community of Daniel Island and the tony beach community of Sullivan’s Island.
Angela recently earned the “Resort and Second Home” designation from the National Association of Realtors. She has worked for some of the leading real estate firms in the Charleston, SC area, including several prior years with Daniel Island Real Estate. Most recently she was a Broker Associate at Limehouse Properties and Charleston Preferred Properties before re-joining the sales team Daniel Island Real Estate. She attended the University of South Carolina where she graduated with honors and received a B.S. in International Business with a minor in Real Estate Studies.
Active in the community, Angela has served on the Board of The Gibbes Museum, Charleston Chamber of Commerce, the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, and the Daniel Island Rotary Club. She is also a past President of the Historic Ansonborough Neighborhood Association and is currently a member of the Charleston Junior League, The Historic Charleston Foundation and The Preservation Society of Charleston.
