We moved to Williamsburg recently from Florida. After getting to know the area we narrowed our search for a new home to specific neighborhoods. Angie was able to find us exactly what we were looking for in a home that was not yet listed. She wrote dozens of letters to homeowners in those neighborhoods that had no current listings. Angie received a good response and was able to find our home. She is great to work with and was always available to answer our questions and work us through questions purchasing an off market home. As a local business owner, I understand the value of professionalism and great customer service. That is why we contacted Angie to help sell our home and it turned out to be the best decision of our transition. We knew we were getting a great person on our side, but she surpassed our expectations. Upon her first visit, we already had a solid plan to sell our home. She left us with a list of tasks to focus upon and prepare our home to show. To boot, she brought in a stager to help us highlight the beauty of our home. And with our staging plan in place, she even rolled up her sleeves and assisted in preparing the house for market. Angie knows the Williamsburg area. Her selling price analysis was a precise exercise in which her knowledge of the neighborhood provided insight into our market. This resulted in a final sale exactly to our asking price and well above our original expectations. In addition, she knew how to market our home. The pictures on our listing made us almost regret selling the place! It blew us away when Angie called just after a few days after hitting the market with a great offer on our home. We accepted and Angie was there to advise us every step of the way all the way up to closing. In addition to selling our home, I worked with Angie on the purchase of a new home. This is where Angie’s connections started to add value. She recommended an excellent finance agent to assist in purchasing my new home. Angie and her transaction coordinator probably needed to schedule a therapy session with Dr. Phil after showing me 20+ homes and writing up the contracts, but they didn’t miss a beat. Angie was always available, answering all my questions no matter what time of day it was. Even on vacation, she was extremely responsive and very proactive in communicating with me, from the sale of our house to the purchase of my new home. We put our trust in Angie and it paid off. She cares about her clients, gets exactly the home you’re looking for rather than quickly trying to sell you for a commission and move on. After renting in the area for 6 years trying to figure out where I wanted to settle down decided on Williamsburg area and Angie had just found a great house for a good friend of mine. We were introduced and she was very personable, asked the write questions of to figure out what I was looking for, showed me a bunch of properties kept asking more questions to get an even better feel for what I wanted and eventually found the house for me in a great neighborhood and we got everything signed sealed and closed in under 4 weeks.

Angie is the best! I purchased a home while out of state, and Angie made it so easy. I drove up from SC for the weekend to look at houses and Angie had everything set up so there was no wasted time. She showed me prospective houses and helped me narrow down the choices to a final decision. With her help, I was able to choose a house and make an accepted offer in a single weekend. She then worked with all parties to finalize the sale without having me drive back to VA. This was by far the easiest home purchase I have ever made.

I was new to home buying, and had bad experiences with retailers or businesses trying to screw me over and Angie was very professional, extremely helpful and reliable through the whole process, she really cared about us(husband was in another state), and understood our needs. She never made me feel uncomfortable and helped me every step of the way. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Angie “It’s Ang!” Archibald brought a new level of client care to our real estate experience! Angie and Sandy were always available for questions and anticipated our needs like they had magical powers! In the beginning when my daughter Brittany said she had good feelings about Angie, I knew Angie was exceptional to measure up to darling Brittany’s standards and then when she also answered all my dear son’s questions promptly and in depth, I knew we were on a grand adventure! Our whole family coast to coast were thrilled to see what a positive happening my move was!
My own experiences are in the patience Angie showed in my email questions from Florida, the wonderful video my son and Angie’s associate Sandy shared with me in Florida and then my arrival in Virginia with Angie personally driving me from the high security Powhatan resort, where my kids put me up, to the beautiful townhome of my dreams. Angie had said to Brittany, “I know the perfect home!” and it is exactly that! To have a closing go so quickly and smoothly is amazing but add to that Angie’s genuine delight in making her clients’ dreams come true is beyond awesome!
I had to wait 5 days for the movers to catch up with me as they were adding my items to another truck and the way-too-generous house warming goodies Angie gifted us thanks also to Sandy’s super-shopper powers were a life saver supplementing the extra beds, supplies, and the linens the kids had set up!
I am not a professional reviewer and usually try to avoid them but I cannot say enough about Angie and please excuse my wordiness trying to cover all the bases! Angie has resources in all areas of closing and home ownership that only a very committed and professional realtor can claim and her integrity and sincere caring runs deep. Angie also followed up emailing links to all the utilities and local links we needed to have what we needed without any interruption of service. In November of 2020, my husband received a job opportunity in the Williamsburg area and we began our home search. We are ‘seasoned’ homebuyers with teenagers, clear on what we wanted in a home but entirely unfamiliar with the Williamsburg market. Angie was by far one of the best realtor I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

I happened to be out of the country for work and she made sure everything ran smoothly as if I was there during my home sell. She was very attentive and flexible with the time difference and took time to thoroughly give us tips/recommendations on how to model our home for listing.

I found Angie randomly during a time when we were unsure about our move. We had an idea that maybe we wanted to move back to Williamsburg but we weren’t sure and we’re looking at the housing markets for a number of cities.
