About Anica
Anica's philosophy is simple: clients come first. As a full-time, agent, the person takes immense pride in the relationships they build and always works relentlessly on the client’s behalf to help them achieve their real estate goals. When collaborating with buyers or sellers, the person maintains constant communication with them. Buying or selling a home is a multi-step process that can sometimes be stressful and emotional. The person will advocate for your needs and help you navigate the process while utilizing strong negotiation skills, a level head, patience, and the ability to work well with others to make the process as smooth and easy as possible. The person will be with you every step of the way and is here even after the process is over.
The person is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. Having lived on both sides of the state line, the person knows what exceptional amenities the greater Kansas City area has to offer. The person loves the Chiefs, taking our golden retriever for walks in the park, working out, and spending time at the lake with their family. The person also loves volunteering for local nonprofits like Variety Children’s Charity which helps children with special needs, Habitat for Humanity KC, and Canine Companions for Independence.
The person is a former teacher with a master’s in early childhood, special education, and hearing impairment through the University of Kansas. The person has earned additional designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®), which focuses on collaborating directly with buyer-clients at every stage of the home-buying process, and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), which is additional training in comparative market analysis of a home. The person is currently finishing their Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation as well, which allows them to more effectively counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions, including relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home.
