Anissa Burnley

Anissa offers her clients passion, empathy, and utmost integrity while acting on their behalf.

In her forays in real estate, Anissa has helped numerous clients purchase homes in San Francisco Bay and metropolitan New York respectively as an agent and broker. She has also practiced commercial real estate acquisition sales and leasing.

Anissa received her B.A. in Political Science and Mass Communications from UC Berkeley, a J.D. at George Washington University Law School and has practiced law for over twenty years in commercial real estate, securities and antitrust class action litigation as well as compliance and legal in-house counsel for construction and civil engineering companies on international projects. In her personal and professional career, Anissa has traveled extensively advising clients in China, Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia. She also lived and worked in Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia and has received her solicitor's license in the latter two.

Anissa is a member of Leading Women in Technology, Association of Corporate Counsel, National Association of Professional Women, Law Societies in the UK and Australia, State Bars of Massachusetts and New York.

Born at Alta Bates in Berkeley and raised in the East Bay and Northern Peninsula, she has maintained a passion for real estate since she purchased her first home in the Piedmont Avenue neighborhood.

Her favorite neighborhoods include Crocker Highlands, Piedmont, Rockridge, Oakmore, and Montclair. In her free time, Anissa enjoys traveling, singing, musicals, cycling, yoga, rehabilitating homes, and interior design. Client driven and purposeful, Anissa is hardworking, tenacious, adventurous, and likes to nerd out with a book as much as possible.
