About Anna
I grew up on a farm in Boone County just down the road from where I live now. My parents instilled in me the importance of hard work and being excited about what you do, whether it is agriculture related or not.
In 2019, I began looking for something to fuel my creativity and determination. I decided to put my creativity, eagerness to learn, and carpentry skills into flipping a house. Upon flipping my first home I hired a local realtor and quickly became frustrated with the stick the sign in a yard and wait method. I knew I could do better! In a 3 month span I took my flip home off the market, got my real estate license, relisted my flip and sold my first property (my flip)!
I love a challenge and using my creativity to help clients visualize how a house could become their next HOME. I am a former educator, data nerd, self-taught carpenter and love to learn. My goal is to educate my clients so they have the information they need in order make one of their biggest & hardest decisions-BUYING A HOME.
Since that first sale I haven't slowed down and jumped in with both feet into being a REALTOR. I enjoy meeting new clients that quickly become new friends. In 2021, I accidently joined a CrossFit gym (I thought I was just joining a gym to lift weights). Honestly, never thought I would be a CrossFit person! It was a happy accident and I enjoy the challenge that CrossFit provides. After completing a few CrossFit Hero/Tribute Workouts I added the Military Relocation Professional Certification in order to better serve our veteran heroes in their home search.
When not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 mostly grown kids, and 1 spoiled queen of the roost corgi on our acreage northwest of Ames, IA. My hobbies include riding horses, barrel racing, crafting, repurposing furniture and picking on my husband.
