Annie Thompson is a highly knowledgeable real estate professional with deep, lifelong roots in the Fredericksburg community. A graduate of Fredericksburg High School, she brings both local expertise and a broad professional background shaped by years of experience beyond the Hill Country.
After earning her degree in print journalism with a minor in photography from Texas State University, Annie built a successful career as a newspaper reporter in Virginia and Arizona. This foundation sharpened her communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex situations with clarity and precision.
Annie later expanded her professional path into the nonprofit sector before establishing a 14-year career as a Licensed Massage Therapist and yoga instructor—roles that further strengthened her client-focused approach, discipline, and ability to build lasting relationships based on trust.
Since becoming a licensed real estate agent in 2022, Annie has distinguished herself through her strategic mindset, creative problem-solving, and unwavering commitment to client success. She is known for her professionalism, persistence, and calm, solutions-oriented approach—qualities that consistently inspire confidence and deliver results.
In addition to her real estate work, Annie serves as a board member of the Good Samaritan Center (2026–2029 term), reflecting her strong commitment to community leadership and service. She remains actively engaged in local organizations and philanthropic efforts, including support for the Gillespie County Historical Society, Fredericksburg Community Orchestra, Fredericksburg Theater Company, the Grace Center, and the Good Samaritan Center.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Annie enjoys hiking, cycling, writing, reading, and the arts. She is an active member of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church and the Essence Women’s Choir.
