We highly recommend Antonio Cardenas. We ended up having to do some major renovations due to a plumbing accident after we signed with Antonio. Antonio worked very closely with us, essentially functioning as a Project Manager, walking us through the renovation process. We were recommended Antonio via a friend! While we were searching for an agent when we were thinking of selling our home , we interviewed about 5 possible agents, he was the most prepared from all of them. He had comps prepared of homes that recently sold in our neighborhood, as well had various plans on how to market our home, however he first asked what were our preferences and outcomes that we wanted, something we didn’t hear from the other agents, so really appreciate the self awareness of our needs first. Antonio is everything I’d hope for in a realtor.

A lot of agents these days don’t really do much. They expect the client to do the bulk of the legwork and then they show up when it’s time to close. They’re hard to reach, slow to respond, and reluctant to do much for you until it’s time to close. You have to consistently push for assistance.

Antonio is not like this at all. Antonio does the work. He’s helpful, thorough, offers consistent guidance and advice, is a great communicator, is very proactive, and easy to work with. I don’t have to poke and prod Antonio for assistance. He’s on top of things, is very available, and makes the process easier and better.

I will use him again for future property purchases without hesitation.

Working with Antonio was amazing. This was my first time buying a home so I was looking for homes myself and casually talking to other realtors. I was initially going to go with another realtor but Antonio stood out to me by being honest and genuine. I told him my goals and plans and he was able to guide me through this home buying process. I am person who likes to do things myself so I can learn and not rely on anyone. Antonio was really understanding of that and explained the whole process to me step by step. He was there for me at each step with no questions asked and I truly appreciated him for that. He showed up to every open house with me and was showing me all the things to look for and we were able to bounce ideas off of each other on how to increase the value of homes. There were times where Antonio would show up with his 2 month old daughter just to show me houses when I was free. If that doesn't show you how dedicated he is, I don't know what will. To give you some perspective on how amazing Antonio is at his job, we first contacted him March 16th about selling our home and buying a new one closer to Midtown. Today, April 19th, we got the keys to our dream home. It took Antonio just over 30 days to sell our home for more than we thought we'd get, and found us an incredible home in Curtis Park we never thought we'd be able to have. He literally made our dreams come true!

We had an instant rapport with Antonio, and working with him is a joy. He's so friendly and easy-going, and always responsive to any questions we had in text messages. On top of that, he's extremely knowledgeable about the Sacramento real estate market and has a great network of other real estate professionals he works with.

He was professional, always on time, and honest with his answers and guidance. When my girlfriend and I were looking for a realtor, the first thing that stood out to us about Antonio was how familiar he is with Sacramento and the history of its neighborhoods. His knowledge is impressive! The second thing that stood out to me personally was his honesty.

Antonio is extremely accommodating and amicable, but he will also tell you his honest opinion regarding any questions you have, even if it may not be what you want to hear. The fact that he was so honest with us made me feel much more comfortable as a first-time home buyer, and was greatly appreciated.

While casually looking at open houses to get an idea of what we want, my boyfriend and I met Antonio (and many other realtors over the course of some weeks). We had a handful of realtors we liked and considered, but Antonio was at the top of the list because he had a very professional, friendly, and no pressure demeanor. As first-time home buyers, we were unsure of what to do or expect so we emailed a questionnaire to a few realtors. A few minutes after sending the email, Antonio responded with a phone call to let us know he received our email and will respond fully later. The same day he sent his responses, which were genuinely thought-out and thorough.  This first impression of prompt responses and follow-through was what I hoped we could expect in working with him. I’m pleased to say he delivered on that expectation! I really appreciated that Antonio always answered our calls, questions and emails promptly. It felt like he was available to us whenever we needed. We had many emails, texts and conversations that took place past ‪9 p.m.‬ to make sure we had everything we needed to get things done. Even better, it felt like we were chatting with our friend rather than someone you’re working with. All of our time together was fun and enjoyable. I would have written this review earlier but we’ve been so busy getting settled in our new home that we love so much and he helped us to get! Antonio is the best! He takes the time to get to know his clients and their specific wants and needs. He makes the process painless by streamlining it.

When we were first looking for a home, we went with a realtor that our lender recommended. We weren’t happy with our first realtor, and we started to feel like we would have to go through the process alone or with someone we didn’t trust. We felt like the first realtor just wanted to make a sale and didn’t care about our preferences.

Lucky for us, we knew Antonio socially, and he offered his services. That was our best decision! Since we already did some research, we had a good idea what we wanted and had a home a couple of months after we first started looking. Antonio worked with the seller and got us a much better deal than we expected. Most of all, he didn’t rush us or try to sell us on homes that were out of our desired size and location.

If you want a realtor who isn’t pushy, who listens to you, and will advocate for you, Antonio is the one!

He has a good handle on assessing your priorities/preferences and matching it with a great home. Leading up to and during escrow, he broke down the process which gave piece of mind. Lastly, Antonio was also a great negotiator with the seller during buyer contingencies. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend Antonio.

Had an amazingly smooth and fast transaction with Antonio Cardenas. Antonio is the person who will go above and beyond to help you throughout the home buying experience to make it as smooth and easy as it can be. He is extremely patient and kind throughout the process and sends emails and text messages after we bought our house to make sure we don't have an problems or questions. Antonio spent hours answering out questions, providing in depth information about the property, and providing tons of statistics of how long listings are going to take and information about the neighborhood. His knowledge and dedication to help us through the process has blown us away, compared to how other realtors are, Antonio is the best. Antonio Cardenas was incredibly patient and super informative the entire process. I met with him in advance so I had time to learn the process, and list out my criterias (location, commute, purchase budget, update budget, etc.) Everything on my "need" list was accounted for, plus some. He was assertive with other agents when it came to negotiating in my favor and he always had my best interests. I truly appreciate the time and effort that went into my first home purchase and for entertaining my kid while I checked out the homes!

Antonio was a pleasure to work with! He helped us in purchasing our first home in which we were completely real estate/ home buying illiterate!! And I mean illiterate! He would always go step by step and explain to us, in detail, how the process to purchasing a new home works.
