We have purchased several homes in the past but have never had the pleasure of working with an agent as enjoyable as April. She excels in all of the above categories and it is obvious from the start that it is not just a job for her. She truly strives for perfection in the business end of the process but also spares no effort in making the process as comfortable and enjoyable for the customer as she can. She seemed more like a friend than business partner . We purchased the home from a distance of 1300 miles and never met her face to face until closing but never felt uncomfortable with any part of the process. Our association with her did did not end with closing, she does follow up to ensure satisfaction and has always been available for questions and any assistance we needed. We had one face to face meeting prior to relocating to another state. April kept us informed of every development regarding the potential sale of the property. Some buyers took advantage of a down market with their offers . April was cool under fire and offered good advice to keep the buyers interested. Finally the sale was made. While we have bought and sold a number of houses, we have never before encountered such a level of excellence. Several months ago I was charged with the responsibility of selling our mother’s home in Ocala. Living over two (2) hours away I needed extra help in marketing the property. April Fontana was the Realtor I chose to help sell my house, because in our neighborhood Lake View Woods she had sold a few other homes and she came highly recommended. The reason I was so happy was our sale became a nightmare due to lender issues for the buyer, however April managed to get involved and help the buyer out while his agent was out of town. She also went above and beyond keeping me in the loop of what was going on and how things were being handled, by no means was this an easy sale due to buyers issues. I want everyone to know how hard April worked to get this deal closed, with all the ups and downs she kept pushing though it and kept my feelings and needs up to speed and assuring and encouraging me, that it would all work out! I could not have asked for a better agent! I was blessed to have her in my corner and watching out for my end of the sale and having my back always. I had a property listed for 18 months with another realtor before contacting April Fontana. I listed with her at the end of August, and I closed on the sale at the end of November. She was in touch with me constantly by phone or email to keep me informed of every showing and advised me, based on the market, as to how to counter an offer. She is a very aggressive sales woman.
